These Terms govern the Cognixis LLC company website at cognixisai.com, including its informational content and company contact features. "Cognixis," "Cognixis AI," "we," and "us" refer to Cognixis LLC. Please review these Terms before using the site. They apply to the extent a binding agreement is formed under applicable law.

Cognixis products can have their own accounts, extensions, AI tools, subscriptions, and product terms. The applicable product terms or signed customer agreement govern those services. This company website does not itself register a product account or purchase a subscription for you.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement to use our submission features or contract for services. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain data handling; accepting Terms is not blanket privacy or marketing consent.

The site presents our company, products, and research. Product illustrations contain example content, not verified customer results. Research, prototype, internal-tool, and roadmap descriptions are not a promise of availability, a delivery date, or a contractual commitment. Current product features and limits are specified in the relevant product or written offer.

We may update or interrupt the site for maintenance, security, or operational reasons. Nothing on the site is a binding quotation, employment offer, or promise of a particular business or career result. A job marked filled is not open for applications.

Read our AI Use & Limitations notice. AI can produce invented facts, incomplete or outdated information, biased recommendations, and inaccurate citations even when an answer sounds confident. Independently verify important information and review generated material before relying on or sharing it.

AI-generated recommendations, classifications, forecasts, summaries, and scores do not guarantee an outcome. A score is an estimate, not a definitive assessment or determination of a person's ability. Research can contain allegations, mistaken identities, or outdated information and should be checked against original sources.

Site content and AI output do not constitute legal, financial, medical, tax, immigration, or other regulated professional advice. They do not create a professional advisory relationship. Do not use a general-purpose AI output as the sole basis for a consequential decision about a person.

These limitations do not excuse deceptive claims, discrimination, or failure to meet our own legal responsibilities.

Use the site lawfully. Do not compromise accounts or systems, distribute malware, interfere with service, evade access restrictions, impersonate someone, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or send unlawful threats, harassment, spam, or fraudulent content. Restrictions on automated access do not override access or uses that applicable law expressly permits.

Submit only information you are authorized to provide. Do not fabricate qualifications or upload someone else's confidential information without authority. Keep unnecessary sensitive information out of contact forms and recruitment materials. If you need to exchange confidential project information, arrange an appropriate agreement and transfer method first.

Submitting a job application does not subscribe you to marketing, create employment, or authorize us to apply for other jobs in your name.

We and our licensors retain rights in the website, branding, software, and original content. You may view and use the site for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms and statutory rights. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners; a reference does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

You retain your rights in material you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to receive, store, reproduce, and process that material only as reasonably needed to handle your request, operate the relevant feature, and meet applicable legal obligations, including through providers performing those tasks. This is not a license to publish your resume, sell your material, or train a general-purpose AI model on it.

AI output may be similar to other output and may not qualify for copyright protection. Product-specific terms determine any rights in output generated through that product. No provision here transfers rights owned by someone else.

Links can lead to Cognixis products, job platforms, provider sites, or other services with separate terms. Verify the destination before entering information. We do not guarantee the content or availability of independently operated sites. Use of a vendor to provide our services does not eliminate our own duties concerning vendor selection, data handling, or legal compliance.

To the extent permitted by law, the informational website is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free information. Express commitments in a signed agreement and mandatory statutory warranties remain effective.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this informational website. For business users, our aggregate liability under these website Terms is limited to the greater of US $100 or amounts paid specifically for the website service giving rise to the claim in the preceding 12 months. Product liability is governed by its applicable agreement.

Exceptions: Nothing limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability, remedy, or consumer, privacy, or discrimination right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Consumers retain all mandatory protections and remedies under applicable law. A disclaimer cannot make an inaccurate advertising claim true.

If you use the website on behalf of a business, that business will indemnify us for a third-party claim to the extent caused by its unlawful submissions, knowing infringement of another person's rights, or intentional misuse of the site. This obligation does not apply to consumers or to a claim caused by our own breach, negligence, or other wrongful conduct.

We will give prompt notice of an eligible claim and reasonable cooperation. No settlement may admit liability for, impose non-monetary obligations on, or fail to release the other party without its consent. This clause is subject to applicable law.

You may stop using the website at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, unlawful conduct, a security threat, or a legal obligation. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Access restrictions do not eliminate privacy rights.

Contact legal@cognixisai.com about a dispute. Informal discussion is optional and does not prevent timely court proceedings, a small-claims filing where available, or a regulatory complaint. These website Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class proceedings. Applicable law and a court with lawful jurisdiction determine disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent the agreement can fairly operate. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Any assignment must preserve your mandatory rights; we may transfer the agreement with a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable law. No provision creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.

These Terms address the company website and do not override an applicable product agreement or signed customer contract. Provisions that by their nature need to continue after use ends do so only for their lawful purpose.
